Maciej Stodulski specializes in the protection of inventions in the field of life sciences, including chemistry, biotechnology, pharmacy, medicine and related sciences. As part of his responsibilities, he draws up national, European and international patent applications, carries out patent examinations, and participates in proceedings for the grant of supplementary protection certificates (SPC). He also takes part in litigation proceedings, among other things, by drafting patent revocation requests. He revises translations of patent specifications from English and German for the purposes of validation of European patents at the Polish Patent Office.
As a doctor of chemical sciences, Maciej has extensive knowledge in the field of chemistry, in particular organic chemistry, stereocontrolled organic synthesis, synthesis of biologically active compounds and catalysis. He has gained his considerable experience in scientific work, fundraising and research project management at various institutions, including the Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences, RWTH Aachen University(Germany), University of Hannover (Germany), and during his cooperation with pharmaceutical companies.
His extensive professional experience is particularly valuable when advising on protection strategies and drawing up opinions in the area of the aforementioned specializations.
