Katarzyna Jarmoszewicz specialises in handling cases in molecular biology, genetics, immunology, pharmacy, medicine, biotechnology and biochemistry. She prepares and supervises national, European and international patent applications and provides technical advice in cases for infringement. She also does patent searches and prior art analyses for patentability of solutions as well as freedom to operate analyses. She assists clients with their patent strategies by also providing rights monitoring services, which is particularly important for companies developing new products or technologies. She runs and monitors extensive patent portfolios in cooperation with our foreign colleagues.
She graduated from the University of Podlasie in Siedlce, Faculty of Agriculture, gaining her specialisation in analytical biology. She also has five years of experience in laboratory work at the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences. In 2020, she completed her postgraduate studies in ‘Law of New Technologies’ at the Institute of Legal Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and since 2022, she has been a patent attorney trainee at the Polish Chamber of Patent and Trademark Attorneys.
